Battelle is actively involved in performing failure analyses for components of both Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) and Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) electric power generation plants. In the past several years a number of such analyses have been performed on components of RAD waste systems and other systems in which chloride contamination is present. The following are summaries of selected investigations.
