The Institute of Paper Chemistry (IPC) and the Fourdrinier Kraft Board Group (FKBG) have sponsored a research project aimed at the identification of major corrosion problems with the materials handling kraft liquors in the linerboard industry and at the mechanistic study of metallic dissolution in the identified corrosion problem areas.
