Compatibility of components in water treatment formulations is a major concern of the cooling water industry. The inclusion of corrosion inhibitors, dispersants, coagulants, and biocides in these treatments causes one to worry about efficient functioning of each chemical. Since a particular chemical’s performance might be impaired or obliterated before or after it is put to work, it is imperative that the formulator has information that eliminates these possible problems.
