According to the major rustproofing companies in the United States and Canada, over 300,000(1) cars and trucks were rustproofed last year. This does not take into consideration those vehicles that were undercoated with the belief that the consumer was getting rustproofing or those vehicles that were rustproofed by fleets themselves. One rustproofing manufacturing company that deals directly with fleets reported almost a 30%(l) increase in sales this past year.
