During the past few years there has been a growing interest in aluminum coatings. Our contacts with military customers and with other fabricators of commercial and military aircraft lead to the conelusion that an aluminum coating process which provides a low cost, high quality coating will gain wide acceptance in the next few years. We at MCAIR have developed a process that meets these requirements. In 1976 we will be using our proprietary ion vapor aluminum (IVD) deposition process to protect steel and aluminum alloy components of our air superiority F-15 fighter aircraft.
