The pursuit of cost reduction in industrial maintenance painting has proceeded relentlessly over the past several years as ever-rising labor and material costs have increased initial painting and maintenance budgets and as pressures on company profits have created stronger and stronger requirements for control of these costs. Fortunately, the technology of corrosion control by the application of high quality industrial protective coatings has kept pace with these increasing costs and has permitted a flattening if not an actual reduction in the cost rise.
