Fluorocarbon resins in commercial use include the original polytetrafluoroethylene (TFE), flourinated ethylene propylene copolymer (FEP), and polyvinylidene fluoride (VF2). One of the outstanding characteristics of these resins is their unusually wide range of chemical inertness, particularly at elevated temperatures.
