Abstract
Economic evaluation of ozone application involves consideration of a number of qualitative and quantitative factors. NACE Committee T-7A-17d has discussed this subject at length. Based on these discussions, an outline has been developed which enlists all the factors which should be considered while evaluating the economics of ozone application. The paper presents the outline along with the procedure recommended to follow these guidelines. Furthermore, the paper supports the rationale and highlights some of the concerns and issues using case histories.
