An integrated diagnostic system was designed and developed to electronically collect and process field inspection data to assess transmission line structures condition and recommending a plan of action to ensure reliability and safety. This system consists of two parts. The first part comprises of field inspection data collection system incorporating a hand-held device and an electronic data recording form program (EASYLINE). The second part includes and expert systems program (CORLINEA) for intelligent data processing.
