Abstract
Water-borne and high solids coatings are used for compliance to regulations that limit the amount of organic solvents that may be emitted into the atmosphere. While these products are now used generally to replace their higher VOC counterparts, a number of innovative industrial applications are showing promise due to certain unique coating characteristics. An understanding of quality requirements along with application and curing parameters is paramount to the achievement of successful service performance.
