Abstract
In recent years alternatives to hydrazine for oxygen removal in boiler systems have been introduced. One technology based on diethylhydroxylamine has proven successful in protecting boiler and steam systems. This paper introduces a new volatile oxygen scavenger technology to compliment diethylhydroxylamine application. Both laboratory data and case studies are documented.
