Abstract
A variety of gravimetric and electrochemical test methods was used to evaluate the relative effectiveness of 23 pipeline and 32 downhole corrosion inhibitors. Tests were divided into low, medium, and high velocity types. Inhibitors were also checked for emulsion and pitting tendency and film persistency so that an overall rating could be made.
