Abstract
The value of an expert system is dependent on the efficient utilisation of the skills and experience of the domain expert. Contributions from the domain expert can be made not only through provision of resource documents, anecdotal information and references, but also by reviewing knowledge bases and prototypes, assisting with user interface specifications, maintaining contact with possible users and contributing to the system documentation.
