Three types of corrosion and erosion monitoring equipment have been installed on a single offshore gas production platform. The equipment includes a corrosion monitoring spool, an electric field signature method instrumented elbow and a thin layer activated coupon. Some of the equipment is installed in series on the same well. This paper will present a qualitative and comparative analysis of the monitors.
