Abstract
Organic polymers have found wide spread use as inhibitors for the prevention of scale formation in heat exchanger systems. Recently a new, naturally derived, non-toxic, biodegradable organic polymer has been developed which provides both scale and corrosion control. The laboratory development and field testing of this polymer are discussed.
