Abstract
Tungsten Carbide Thermal Spray coatings provide wear surfaces to new and overhauled components for various industries. Their wear resistance is obtained by incorporating small tungsten carbide particles into a metal matrix.
This presentation will show what parameters influence their corrosion resistance in the ASTM B-117 Salt Spray Corrosion Test.
