Abstract
Oil country tubular goods (OCTG's), wellheads, and other associated equipment used in the drilling and development of production of hydrocarbons in critical and/or hostile environments require not only expert design but also a detailed quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) product specification program from procurement of the equipment to final installation at location. This paper will address the development of a QA/QC product specification for the specifying and procurement of OCTG's and wellheads used in critical applications.
