Abstract
Environmental stress cracking and other laboratory tests were performed on rotornolded crosslinked high density polyethylene (XLHDPE) using chemicals common to the the oil field service industry. These tests, as well as several years of successful field experience, indicate that rotomolded XLHDPE is an excellent material to handle aggressive acids and other chemicals.
