Abstract
A plastic liner system for line pipe was developed consisting of a preextruded liner with flared ends and a filled annulus bonding the liner to the steel line pipe. The liner system, previously successful in threaded tubing systems, was adapted for various mechanical interference fit (MIF) and welded joint systems on line pipe. Laboratory testing, field trials and installation of these systems are described.
