Abstract
Arc and flame sprayed coatings of Al, AlMg and ZnAl have been tested in seawater up to 18 months. The test program includes measurements of the current consumption under cathodic protection, corrosion rate measurements and current outputs under anodic polarization. The feasibility of using such coatings on submerged offshore structures is evaluated.
