Abstract
This paper discusses corrosion which can occur in building water piping systems. Included are case histories involving hot and cold potable water pipe, hot water heat pipe, cooling water pipe, chilled water piping and firewater piping. The paper reviews the causes of corrosion in building water piping and various measures used to control the corrosion.
