Computers were used in feeding chemicals as well as the continuous monitoring and recording of critical parameters for a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. They were also used as a management tool for remote monitoring, control, and decision making. The results were the successful control of corrosion, the inhibition of scale formation, and the elimination of equipment failure.
