Abstract
Nuclear power plants have been shown to be susceptible to microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). A brief review of the characteristics of MIC is provided. The available MIC mitigation measures - cleaning, water treatment, operational controls, and materials replacement strategies are discussed.
