Abstract
The ongoing problem of internal pipeline corrosion has attracted many contractors with a variety of solutions. The technology base of these procedures has been in a constant state of flux making it sometimes difficult for the corrosion engineer to make the proper choice for his particular set of circumstances.
This paper offers an overview of the various corrosion control processes available, along with relative capabilities and limitations of each. Particular attention is given to the in-situ coating procedure.
