Abstract
The use of welded thin-walled tubes of duplex stainless steels containing nitrogen is of an economic interest in heat exchangers cooled with dilute chloride waters. The corrosion properties of commercial strip with different chromium and molybdenum contents have been studied and compared with those of heat-treated tubes industrially TIG-welded.
