Internal insert linings offer a different and proven technology to internal corrosion control in steel tubing, line pipe, and casing. Corrosion problems must be addressed in most enhanced oil recovery projects, salt water disposal systems, and many other environments causing corrosion.

The technology represented in the insert lining process offers another option in combating corrosion in steel tubulars.

This paper will cover the use of fiberglass-epoxy, and PVC (polyvinylchloride) plastic insert liners as an effective means of protecting steel tubulars from corrosion in both surface and downhole applications.

This presentation will explain the process of installing liners inside steel tubing and casing, along with handling and running procedures.
