Abstract
This paper concerns itself with the application of coatings to provide anticorrosion protection to steelwork in the Offshore Sector predominantly the North Sea. Details are given of coatings applied to sheet steel piling in the splash zone, in air and underwater to substrates in varying conditions of cleanliness. Mention is made of two commercial repairs using resins carried out underwater.
