Inorganic-zinc coatings have been one of the technological developments of our times which have made a positive impact on society. This impact is not a dramatic one, such as television or space travel, but, nevertheless, a solid impact from the standpoint of preserving scarce materials, eliminating the need for replacement of existing structures, reducing the cost of steel structures, saving manpower and providing new structures with a substantial increase in life expectancy.
