NACE International’s annual corrosion career and salary survey will close on Friday, May 6. If a survey questionnaire link is e-mailed to you, the Materials Performance (MP) staff asks that you please take a few moments to fill out the form and return it. If you work or reside in the United States, Canada, or Europe and wish to participate in the survey but did not receive an e-mail with a survey link, please contact MP Editor Kathy Riggs Larsen at [email protected].
The survey questionnaire has been e-mailed to NACE members in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The survey collects the latest information on the respondents’ education, work experience, job responsibilities, corrosion technologies used, and annual compensation; and the survey results will be reported in the July 2016 issue of MP magazine.
An annual MP tradition for the past 17 years, the survey has expanded beyond the United States over the years to include members in Canada, the United Kingdom, and European countries that use the Euro as their currency. The survey results have proven to be extremely valuable to members as well as the corrosion industry. More than 2,100 members completed the survey last year, and the MP staff encourages all invited members to participate this year so the survey results will represent an even larger base of corrosion professionals.
This year the online survey will again be conducted by an independent survey company, and all responses will be completely anonymous.
Because of the numerous currencies used by NACE members worldwide, it is difficult to obtain statistically significant and comparable results from around the globe; however, plans are underway to broaden future distribution of the survey questionnaire to additional countries.
