Porvair Filtration Group has delivered sustained enhancements to its polymer filtration offering, developing a new product range and expanding its team of dedicated experts.
Responding to market demand, the company has launched a range of new leaf disc products to incorporate improved filter media.
The new products will offer increased benefits to customers, including longer performance times for on-stream periods and delivery of an extended overall lifetime. The products are also available in a range of filtration ratings - from five to 40 micron.
In addition to the new product range, Porvair has strengthened its team of polymer filtration experts, appointing specialist, John Orchard, to manage its polymer offering and ensure excellent customer support in the sector.
John will oversee the sale of Porvair’s complete range of filters for the polymer industry, including candles, leaf discs, and solid plate capsules.
Building upon Porvair’s success and dedication to technical excellence and superior customer service, John’s role will see an increased focus on customer experience in the sector, while the new products will ensure the company stays at the forefront of the technology to meet the increasing needs and expectations of the customer.

Porvair has supplied the polymer filtration industry sector with performance-driven filtration equipment for over 25 years, manufacturing in both UK and USA and has a network of sales and distribution offices internationally.
The group’s range of candle filters is available in both cylindrical and pleated formats, in industry standard designs, or can be custom designed to fit any particular housing. These are available in both sintered metal fibre and woven wire mesh, ranging from three to one hundred microns.
Porvair also offers a range of leaf disc filters with the latest design features, ensuring lower pressure drops, leading to longer on stream life. Their robust construction allows for many cleaning cycles, reducing whole life costs.
Additionally, Porvair’s easy-to-clean solid plate greatly improves the appearance and performance of thin film products and limits the creation of gels and degraded polymer at high temperatures.
Porvair will be presenting its latest polymer capabilities at ACHEMA 2015 in Frankfurt from 19-25 June on stand A16, Hall 5.1.
