NRI Texas Opens With Composite Conference Free

July 27, 2015

NRI is open for business! Located at 5041 Spencer Hwy, Suite 106 in Pasadena, Texas, NRI's new facility is fully equipped and ready to serve the Gulf Region. Housed within the office are branches of NRI University (NRI-U), Technical Services, and Business Development. This means that the same outstanding training, technical support, and cutting-edge composite solutions that you expect from NRI, are now directly available in the Gulf Region.

According to David Hunter, NRI's Global Business Development Manager, "Corrosion can cost millions of dollars in repairs and lost productivity. Our composites allow facilities to repair rather thanreplace, often without shut-downs. The composites can return the pipe to its original design strength. Composite repairs are completed within hours, not days like traditional steel replacement. Now, with our Pasadena office, these solutions are within an easier and faster reach. Simply contact [email protected]."

Hands-On Training and Technical Support
NRI-U's Global Technical Director, Matt Green states, "With the opening of the Pasadena location, we are now able to provide local resources for our company's educational arm, NRI University.  Within the new office, we've created a fully-functional training facility to conduct localized, detailed training courses for end users and contractors in the Gulf Region. Courses range from general composite knowledge, to inspection procedures, to hands-on installation training. Additionally, we offer local site training options.  If you are interested in participating in, scheduling, or hosting any of our educational events, contact us today at [email protected]!

Davie Peguero, NRI's Mechanical Engineer says, "The NRI Pasadena location will also offer our Technical Services in order to provide engineered composite repair solutions. Evaluation, consultation, and design solutions engineered utilizing NRI's composite repair systems are services offered to Owners, Service Contractors, and Engineering Contractors. To stay ahead of the industry, our engineers participate in many of the committees where codes and standards are set and needs are discussed. Metal loss, pitting, and mechanical damage mechanisms on pipeline or process piping are a few examples of possible issues that may be addressed. ASME and ISO composite repair design methodologies are available, as well as custom solutions utilizing higher level assessment methodologies and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Contact NRI Technical Service at [email protected] for any questions about our services."

Are You In Compliance?
NRI Texas will celebrate our grand opening by hosting an A.C.E.S. (Advances in Composite Education Seminar) at Brady's Landing on Friday, August 14 from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. Come and join us for an afternoon of steak, seafood, and solutions to your corrosion problems.

Is your facility in compliance with the latest repair standards? What you don't know CAN cost you. To help, NRI's A.C.E.S.will focus on standard-compliant composite repairs for corroded process piping. Industry experts will guide you through a review of the latest standards including ASME PCC-2 Article 4.1, 4.2 and API-570.
We will also discuss:

  • Design Considerations For Leaking And Non-Leaking Defects
  • Cost Analysis Of Composite Solutions Relative To Other Repair Options
  • Training Compliance and Options
  • Proven Step-by-Step Engineering Design Processes That Can Be Easily / Cost-Effectively Implemented At Your Facility

This is an invitation-only event. Spaces are limited.
Please RSVP by Friday, July 31 to Dorothy McPhaul (NRI): [email protected]
