Sto Corp. Wins Project of the Year at EIFS Excellence Awards

In an emailed press release, Sto Corp. (Atlanta, Georgia, USA), a world leader in fully integrated façade systems, announced that it has been awarded the prestigious Project of the Year Award at the 2024 EIFS Excellence Awards for the second year in a row. This high-profile recognition underscores Sto Corp.’s leadership in energy efficiency, design versatility, and sustainable innovation across the building envelope industry.

Presented in March during the 2025 EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA) Annual Meeting, the top honor was awarded to The Atrium at Sumner in Brooklyn, New York. A standout in the high-rise category, the project was recognized for its striking architectural expression, sustainable design and use of StoTherm ci system with StoSignature Stone 10 Limestone finish.

In addition to the Project of the Year, several other Sto Corp. projects were honored across multiple categories. In healthcare, the Waco Family Medicine project in Waco, Texas, was honored. This project incorporated over 15,000 square feet (1,394 m2) of StoCast Wood, which mimics the look and feel of real wood. In addition, 160 Richmond Terrace was recognized for its sculptural form and creative façade integration. And in the Mixed-Use category for honorable mention, The Archive at Chapel Street project in New Haven, Connecticut, was chosen.

Now in its seventh year, the EIFS Architectural Awards celebrate exceptional projects clad with exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS), renowned for their superior performance, sustainability, durability, and aesthetic flexibility in building envelope solutions. It is the pinnacle competition in the EIFS industry.
