The ChemQuest Group (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA) announced the appointment of five new directors with diverse expertise who will support specialty materials clients with tailored business strategy and optimization, technology acceleration, market intelligence, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services. New to the global consulting firm are the following: Sanjeev Dey, Ph.D.; Marc de Pater; Henry DiGregorio; Arpit Dwivedi; and Frederick Myers, Ph.D.
Dey has developed deep expertise int eh person care and home care, institutional, and industrial cleaning (HI&I) markets, leading innovation projects and building strategies for regional and global growth. Over the course of his career, Dey rose through the ranks of Milliken & Co., primarily in the company’s Performance Colorants & Ingredients business unit. Most recently, he served as the division’s global commercial strategy director.
Dey holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Nevada Reno and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in nanotechnology at Northwestern University. The author of 45 articles for numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications, Dey holds 42 patents.
“I have worked with the ChemQuest team during due diligence processes for many M&A activities in prior roles,” Dey says. “Working with the team, I have always learned a different perspective on a task. With my in-depth technical and market expertise in home care, fabric care, and personal care applications, I am excited to support our clients in these areas.”
Based in The Netherlands, de Pater is a senior chemicals industry executive with a strong background in strategy development and execution. Throughout his dynamic career, he led many teams in creating and implementing commercial and business strategies, delivering growth in both existing and new global markets through key leadership roles with companies such as Kraton, Shepherd Color Co., and Arthur D. Little.
de Pater earned an M.Sc. degree in polymer chemistry from the University of Groningen and holds a patent for novel rosin esters for adhesives. He speaks English, Dutch, German, and basic French.

DiGregorio is an accomplished leader in business development, business-to-business (B2B) sales, product management, marketing, and technical applications. Over the course of his career, DiGregorio has built considerable expertise in dispensing technologies and applications with companies such as Nordson EFD and H.B. Fuller. He served most recently as business development manager for H.B. Fuller’s Adhesive Packaging Specialties division.
Along with an A.S. degree in industrial management from Three Rivers Technical College, a B.S. in business administration from the University of New Haven, and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, DiGregorio is also a Six Sigma green belt. He holds six patents related to dispensing technology.

Dwivedi is a highly accomplished business leader with diverse industry experience and expertise in strategy, innovation, and market growth across B2B and B2C [business-to-consumer] sectors. Skilled in launching ventures and driving revenue, Dwivedi has led initiatives from startups to Fortune 10 firms, most recently a head of Strategy & New Business Development at Behr Paint Co.
Recognized for inspiring the C-suite and stakeholders, Dwivedi excels in growth strategy, go-to-market execution, team leadership, and financial performance. He holds a B.E. degree from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, an M.S. in materials science and engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Over the course of his career, Myers has developed in-depth knowledge of organic, inorganic, and powder coatings for steel and other metals, as well as fiber-reinforced polymer composites (including fiber production and impregnation in military and commercial applications). Myers has had numerous leadership and engineering roles with companies such as Armco and AK Steel Corp., most recently serving as principal research engineer for Cleveland-Cliffs Steel.
Myers earned a B.S. in mathematics and physics from Otterbein University, as well as an M.S. in physics and a doctorate in materials engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is the inventor on over 10 patents.
