Polymer materials and components manufacturer Covestro announced that it is investing a low triple-digit million Euro amount to expand its site in Hebron, Ohio, USA. Construction of the new production lines is scheduled to begin in 2025, with operations starting by the end of 2026.

As part of the expansion, the company says it will construct multiple new production lines and infrastructure to manufacture customized polycarbonate compounds and blends, which will allow it to significantly expand its capacity in the solutions and specialties business for the American market.
