We’re excited to announce the launch of new website for CORROSION journal in tandem with a new digital library from AMPP. This digital library, which can be accessed at content.ampp.org, brings AMPP’s content to a single place, including CORROSION articles, Materials Performance articles, CoatingsPro Magazine articles, conference papers (AMPP, NACE International, and SSPC), standards, books, and more.
If you haven’t visited our website recently, take a minute to do so. You can get there by visiting content.ampp.org/corrosion or by using our old web domain of www.corrosionjournal.org. For those of you who are AMPP members, you will now have a single login to access your member benefits (magazines, standards, and conference papers) and your journal subscription. On your first visit to the website, you will need to reset your password to access your benefits. You will also be able to purchase and access subscriptions, individual articles and papers, memberships, books, and standards on the website, which serves as the new AMPP Store. If you need to switch between publications or content types, click on the down arrow next to the AMPP logo in the top left corner of the website and choose the publication/content type you want to visit.
We’ve taken this opportunity to enhance the journal’s archive and have converted all of our older articles to XML. This means that html and PDF views of every article are now available. It also improves the searchability of our older articles, helping you find what you are looking for.
Also on the topic of search, the new website allows you to conduct a global search of all content in AMPP’s digital library. This means that, in addition to searching over 8,200 CORROSION articles, you can simultaneously search nearly 12,000 magazine articles, over 20,000 conference papers, and hundreds of standards. Simply click on the down arrow to the right of the search box and select “All Content.” You can also use the AMPP taxonomy to filter your results if there is something specific you are trying to find.
We will be releasing website tips and tricks for our readers—stay tuned! We look forward to bringing you more great articles and features this year.
