The committee members have reviewed existing literature and have had the opportunity to use private information in a high temperature corrosion compilation.

The data has now been prepared in chart form which will present to the user of the data an idea of what materials might be used at a prescribed lower limit and those which would be unsuitable when a certain temperature was exceeded.

On the information that has been presented it is evident that much further information will be required before indicating the best materials to be used at temperatures above 400 degrees F.
