Greetings, corrosion community,
We at Corrosion understand all authors' desires to publish high-quality papers in reasonable time periods in journals with impact factors that are respected in their fields. We understand that there is ever-increasing pressure in the scientific and engineering communities to demonstrate both the quality and impact of your science and engineering accomplishments both internally and externally. Impact factor is one metric used in such evaluations.
Corrosion is excited to announce that our 2013 impact factor (IF) is 2.908. This represents a 67% increase compared to last year, and 320% improvement compared to 2006. Corrosion is among the top five journals within the “Metallurgy and Metallurgical Engineering” category and within the top 50 (of 251 journals) in the “Multi-Disciplinary Materials Science Field” as reported by the Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports (JCR) site.
We are also pleased to report that Corrosion is continuing...
