We would like to point out that British industry began experimenting with metal spraying in 1922 instead of 1932. The author’s company commenced the development of metal spraying in 1922 and has continuously maintained a laboratory to work on corrosion and metal spraying problems from all angles. It is very definitely certain that there is more metallising carried out for anti-corrosive purposes in this country, either per head of population or in proportion to capital expended, than in any other country in the world, and that this has been largely brought about by a careful adherence to scientific facts and a very careful modification of propaganda to deal only with facts that are well-known.
