A method of plotting experimental data is described, which reveals the relationships among alloy corrosion state, chemical composition, and external polarization. The diagrams are plotted from the studies of specific alloys in a given system of alloys (for instance, binary ones) and for their combination—similarly to the plotting of state phase diagrams of metals. The immunity, passivation, and corrosion regions are denoted on the diagrams. The pH value of the near-electrode solution layer is used as an indicator of the metal surface corrosion state.
