Slow strain rate test on tensile specimens with hump were conducted on 304 (UNS S30400) and 316 (UNS S31600) stainless steels with different heat treatments in lithiated hydrogenated water at 350°C. The SCC susceptibility and passivation properties were studied. A comparison of the behavior of those steels with alloy 600 is discussed.
