In this report, a new calculation method, which is fundamentally different from those currently used, is described for the determination of corrosion parameters from a series of polarization points. This method may be applied in any laboratory with a microcomputer, and it requires writing only a short program.
Since the method is not iterative, the calculations may be conducted in a few seconds. On the other hand, its advantage over the algebraic methods is that it can accept a large number of points, which affords accuracy to the determinations.
