In the paper “Crevice Corrosion Behavior of Stainless Steel in Seawater and Related Environments,” by R. M. Kain, Corrosion, Vol. 40, No. 6, p. 319 (1984), the letters (b) and (c) in the caption to Figure 15 were inadvertently reversed. The caption should read as follows:
FIGURE 15 — Appearance of multiple crevice test specimens exposed to dilute seawater with chloride concentrations of 10,000 mg/L for (a) AISI 304 and (c) AISI 316, and 3000 mg/L for (b) AISI 304 and (d) AISI 316.
