Following recent theoretical studies on harmonic analysis by other authors, the experimental study reported herein was carried out. A brief theoretical outline is given and two experimental techniques are described. The results obtained using these harmonic techniques were compared with more conventional electrochemical techniques and weight loss coupons using mild steel in sodium chloride solutions.
