An inexpensive, versatile potentiostat for corrosion studies has been designed and tested. The instrument can be used for potentiostatic and potentiodynamic studies as well as for galvanic current measurements. It contains IR-drop compensation. Provisions for corrosion rate measurements using the "linear polarization" and the three-potential-step methods are made.
