To the Executive Committee, National Association of Corrosion Engineers:

Your committee submits a brief report as follows:

THE Condensate Well Corrosion Committee was started in September 1944, with the appointment of the chairman by Mr. R. A. Brannon, president of the association. At the time the chairman was appointed, the Corrosion Research Project Committee of the Natural Gasoline Association had circulated the major condensate producers and received donations for research studies. A committee was obtained and after several conferences with the NGAA group, the function of conducting field tests of metals and alloys was allocated to the NACE group, with the full backing of the NGAA group.

The work of the Committee has since proceeded along this line. The committee is composed of 23 members representing twelve oil companies, four metal and alloy manufacturers, one consulting firm, and the Bartlesville, Oklahoma, branch of the Bureau of Mines.
