ONE of the most important aspects of any technical society is its publications. NACE has reason to be proud of its two fine technical journals, Corrosion and Materials Protection and Performance. Maintaining the quality of our publications doesn’t happen by accident, but rather by the unselfish and devoted efforts of a few dedicated people.
The technical quality and reader appeal of the publications are the direct responsibilities of the technical editors. Throughout the years, NACE has been fortunate to have competent editors with international reputations in the corrosion community. Certainly, the editors, Dr. E. C. Greco of Materials Protection and Performance, and Drs. Mars Fontana and Frank Beck of Corrosion, are no exceptions. They have served the society with distinction, and their efforts are appreciated by all who read our journals.
