The anodic polarization characteristics of Inconel X-750 Alloy in two heat treated conditions, (1) solution treated and (2) solution treated and aged, were examined for sensitivity to temperature and to chloride ion concentration. The effects of microstructure and environment on the anodic passivation behavior of this alloy are correlated and discussed.
