Corrosion rate data obtained by continuous measurement of the change in resistance of a corroding iron wire previously heat treated to remove the cold work are plotted as the log of the corrosion rate against the reciprocal of the absolute temperature. These data are represented by two straight lines which intersect at about 40 C (104 F).
