Guy Corfield, Research Engineer, Southern Counties Gas Co., was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, on November 29, 1897. On graduation from Victoria High School, he enlisted in the Canadian Army and served four years in the First World War. On return from the war, he entered the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He took a B. S. Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1924.
He then came to the United States to work with the Los Angeles Gas and Electric Corporation, which later became Southern California Gas Company. He was employed first as chemist and now holds title of research engineer. He became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1930. His work has been...
