Previous statistical correlations on the testing of corrosion inhibitors in sour, static systems have been extended to sour and sweet dynamic systems. The important parameters determining inhibitor efficiencies in such systems have been found to be inhibitor dosage based on oil content, water cut, and distribution ratio between oil and water phases. The importance of statistical concepts in the interpretation of laboratory test data on inhibitor evaluation is emphasized.
